COMMUNICATION FRIENDLY SETTING

Holmer Reception is a Communication Friendly Setting having been awarded an Early Years accreditation from Elklan.

Speech, language and communication skills form the foundations for academic success

at school, friendships, self-confidence and personal fulfilment. Our staff have undergone evidence based training to improve the communication skills of all children, especially those with speech, language and communication difficulties.

Elklan Communication Friendly Setting (CFSe) accreditation is awarded to Early Years settings that have trained and supported all their staff in communication and language development. They will also have shown evidence of embedding this knowledge to support young children.
