Welcome to Year 6 

6P and 6D 

The class teacher for 6D is Mrs. Deuchar and the class teachers for 6P are Miss. Price and Mrs Watkins, with Mrs. Wride and Miss Disley as the teaching assistants. Mrs. Keating will also be teaching a group of Y6 pupils every morning! 

In Year 6, we strongly recommend pupils regularly log onto Times Tables Rock Stars, Maths.co.uk, Arithmagicians and SPaG.com - these apps are highly motivating and regular practise of these skills is proven to help to embed learning. If your child forgets or loses their login details, we are more than happy to reissue this. Homework will be assigned in their homework books and it is expected to be completed and presented to a high standard just like they would in school.  

Year 6 is a hugely rewarding year group. We do our utmost to nurture our pupils and ultimately prepare them for the next stage in the educational journey! Rest assured, pupils will be supported every step of the way. Should you have any questions, worries or need any help at all, our doors are always open!
