Our school worship committee shared that they felt it was important to have a special school prayer. We couldn't agree more! They did some research; some even wrote their own. They then voted on their favourite prayer which has now been adopted as the Holmer Academy prayer. It was written by Class 6D in  Autumn Term 2023

Dear Lord,

We are the salt of the earth,

the children of the light

you are the brightest candle

shining on us

to guide us

to forgive us

to love us

to show kindness to all

you take everybody's hand

in the darkness

and help us shine brightly

to make our world a better place

In the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
