I moved to Holmer with my husband at the end of 2023 from Berkshire and became a member of Holmer Church and as a result joined the Open the Book team, coming into Holmer Academy several times a term. I am very impressed by the Christian ethos of the school and, when a vacancy for a church governor came up, was pleased to offer my services. It is a pleasure to be the link governor for RE and languages (I was a translator for 20+ years).  Away from church and school, my main interest is walking and my husband and I get out exploring Herefordshire and the surrounding area as often as we can.
