  Holmer Academy recognised in the Parliamentary Review

  Holmer Academy, were honoured to be asked to feature in the annual Parliamentary Review. Headteacher, Jayne Maund, was contacted by the team at ‘The Parliamentary Review’ and asked to write an article celebrating best practice at Holmer C of E Academy. They came to the publication’s attention as a result of their consistently strong results and recent Outstanding Ofsted report which highlighted their high expectations and standards, highly effective teaching, exceptionally strong contribution to pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development along with its welcoming community.

  On Wednesday 11th September, Mrs. Maund and Mrs Keating (Deputy Head), attended the Parliamentary Review Gala evening, along with a small number of other thriving schools and businesses, which saw the launch of The Review and featured guest speakers Julia Hartley-Brewer and Ed Balls.

  Speaking of the experience, Mrs. Maund said, ‘Everything that we do here at Holmer is focused around securing the best possible outcomes for our pupils. As such it was wonderful to be recognised by the Parliamentary Review Team. It is a direct reflection of the hard work of all our staff, pupils and their families. We very much look forward to continuing to work together to provide brighter futures for our pupils.’
