Andrew Wibmer

I moved from Scotland to Hereford over 30 years ago on a short term contract. I was most impressed with the opportunities Herefordshire and the borders had to offer so chose to stay.

Since then I met and married my wife and together we have three daughters who are now going through University all over the country. I like to make the most of what Hereford has to offer with Kayak racing (though not so competitive now), cycling and motorcycling amongst my interests.

I have been working with schools for the past fifteen years. Formerly with the local authority, now as an independent advisor for the last ten years. I joined the Board of Governors in 2013 and have seen a number of significant changes take place over that time. Though there are a lot of challenges being introduced, I am most impressed by the child centred focus at Holmer.
