Volunteers

Do you love working with children? Are you look for a fulfilling way of helping your local community? Would you like to be part of the wider Holmer family?

If so, we would love to hear from you! We have a fab team of volunteers and really value each and every one of them. By giving a little bit of time, they are making a huge difference to our pupils.

The only requirements are as follows: 

- a current DBS or willingness to apply for a DBS through us

- a warm and friendly face

- a willingness to be flexible

- a willingness to undertake essential safeguarding training

- an understanding that relatives will not be volunteering in the same year group as their children

Work experience

Whether you're a High School student, college student or even an undergraduate, we may be able to support your placement. We have experience of supporting TAs undertaking training, school work experience students and even teacher training.

The only requirements are as follows:

- a current DBS provided by your school/college/university (for short term placements for students under 16, we may be able to risk-assess instead)

- a warm and friendly face

- a willingness to be flexible and work as part of the Holmer team

- a willingness to undertake essential safeguarding training

- an understanding that should you be working towards any objectives/standards, you will be supported and reviewed accordingly.
